Soloists from previous productions team up to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Poland's first national composer whose groundbreaking work created a new nationalism in the hearts of Polish musicians and music-lovers alike.
Moniuszko composed over 300 songs during his lifetime and his Spiewnik Domowy is regarded as one of the finest songbooks ever written. This concert will feature the most beloved of his songs as well the arias from his operas and also the orchestral overture "Bajka".
